Its possible to remove shortcut arrows in our desktop icons.? Yes friends its possible to remove without affect your system settings. Now we are going to this tricks.
We done this tricks with help of Windows Registry. These registry's are stores the settings and options of windows operating system (OS) .
Steps to Remove Shortcut Arrows in Desktop Icons :
1. Click Window key + R (Run command) in that type regedit (Full form is : Registry Editor) then Click Enter and Click Yes.
2. In the Registry Editor Expand the HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT
4. Under that locate the key lnkfile and click.
After that In the Right side find the file name IsShortcut - > Change to IsNotShortcut
5. Now continue the 4th step and locate the key piffile and click.
After that In the Right side find the file name IsShortcut - > Change to IsNotShortcut
6. Now Restart your computer. That's all your desktop icon are displayed without the shortcut arrows.
7. If you want again the shortcut arrow do the above process replace the IsNotShortcut - > Change to IsShortcut.
